Why is SEIU Spending Millions on Raiding UNITE HERE?

Download the flier. SEIU President Andy Stern has launched a campaign to dismember UNITE HERE, a sister union that has historically been one of SEIU’s closest and most progressive allies. In Northern California, UNITE HERE includes Local 2 in San Francisco and Local 2850 in the East Bay. SEIU has pledged tens of millions of dollars – out of your dues money – to support this raid, at a time when members are fighting severe budget cutbacks.
