Why is SCO OpenServer 5.0.2 not acknowledging the dual processors on my Dell PowerEdge 4100, PowerEdge SP-2, or PowerEdge XE-2 system?

There are 3 possible causes for this problem: • The symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) product for the SCO operating system is not installed via the Software Manager utility. • When the SMP software was installed, the activation key and serial number code were not entered correctly or at all in the License Manager utility. • If the SMP software is installed and the activation key and serial number code were entered correctly, either the new kernel was not built or the system has not been rebooted to that new kernel.
