Why is SCAD opening a location in Hong Kong?
After significant research, SCAD determined that Asia, and Hong Kong in particular, is an ideal SCAD location for several important reasons: • SCAD’s popularity among students from Asia has grown significantly over the last few years. • SCAD offers a more comprehensive array of specialized digital media degree programs than are currently being offered in Hong Kong. • SCAD already has well-established relationships in Hong Kong, including a growing network of students, alumni, professors and donors. • SCAD already has relationships with an increasing number of major organizations in Hong Kong that recruit talented SCAD graduates for internships and full-time positions.
