It protects the sevoflurane from light and it also offers a convenient size for storing on pharmacy shelves or in dispensing machines. Sojourn sevoflurane is packaged in USP Type III Amber glass bottles. This packaging material has a long history of safety and stability for a wide variety of liquid pharmaceutical products, including inhalant anesthetics. Glass is also less subject to pinhole defects and other manufacturing flaws that could result in product contamination. Our continuing testing has demonstrated no degradation of Sojourn sevoflurane under normal or accelerated stability study conditions.
