why is Russia in Georgia to begin with?
It seems to me to be something akin to if Florida tried to break away from the US, and then Cuba invaded through Florida into the US when we tried to get it back. Now South Ossetia and Abkhazia (and Tibet, Darfur, etc) must be recognized as de facto independent regions. If Florida fought and won it’s independence from the US, then yes, it would be considered a de facto breakaway. And, Cuba COULD enter Florida (if invited BY FLORIDA) to drive out the US forces.
