Because if your hard disk contains any error, Windows Defrag utility will not run. I used Defrag for Windows but still disk defrag hangs or the progress percentage drops constantly. You have tons of temporary and junk files on your hard disk which must be removed before a disk defrag. Download PC Mesh Internet and Disk Cleanup from our website and run it a few times back to back. All of the cleanup options should be selected. After using your defrag software my programs can’t load anymore. If Defrag for Windows terminates prematurely (i.e. if you interrupt the process), Windows memory settings can’t be restored. Thus your programs won’t be able to load due to insufficient memory. If in case you experience such problem launch Defrag for Windows, go to Options, Miscellany and click the “Reset” button.
