The cryogenic rubber used in the infill is specially designed to prevent compaction of the infill and maintain a soft, realistic feel to the grass. Sand, alone, may compact over time. The rubber prevents this compaction, and is the only process we have identified which is effective, regardless of the shape of the sand.
