Why is Roman Polanski being unfairly picked on by law enforcement?
No! He’s a fugitive and has been since he ran from the law years ago. Now they have him and I hope they prosecute fully. Even if they drop the rape charges, they should put him away for being fugitive. That’s great that she’s been able to forgive him but what does that have to do with the law? The state doesn’t “forgive.” It’ prosecutes crimes. The victim doesn’t get the offer of telling the state to forget it; the state is in charge here. Polanski broke the law, acting as a pedophile, and liberals want to just forgive him and forget it. Any pedophile act deserves to be prosecuted.
