Why is rock/punk music NEVER played on the radio?

Radio stations have sponsors. Sponsors are corporate. Corporate runs everything including the biggest music labels and artists that are the sponsors. Therefore, radio is corporate. Corporate pays the radio stations to play the artists music to make them money. Corporate is conformity. Punk is not. Mainstream is corporate. Therefore, punk is not mainstream or corporate. But the problem lay with the people. The people buy the artists music which puts money in the hands of corporate in which they then pay mainstream radio. People listen to the music. Not because it’s good, but because they don’t know the difference. I think the best way to change things would be to simply stop buying music from “artists” that don’t write their own music.
