Why is Res-Q HDL+ referred to as no-flush niacin?
Flushing is a common reaction from sudden increased circulation often associated with immediate-release forms of niacin. Res-Q HDL+ is formulated to include both niacin and inositol. This compound is metabolized very slowly and therefore does not result in abrupt dilation of blood vessels (flushing, common with other forms of niacin).
