Why is Remy Hair referred to as Cuticle Hair?

REMY hair is CUTICLE hair. Meaning either the hair was cut from one-person hair, (their hair was put in one big braid and then cut off. It is cleaned and that’s it. Or it is cut from several people’s hair, and they take each strand and align the hair all going the same direction (root at one end, and the ends facing the other direction (meaning all cuticles are facing the same direction. Now cheaper hair has had the cuticles removed (the hair from beauty supply stores). This keeps them from having to line up each strand the same direction. The cuticle is removed, so it won’t tangle. The only problem with this is that the process to remove the cuticle is that it is placed in an acid bath. This removes all moisture and life from the hair, it’s becomes dull brittle and ugly. So after this process they coat the hair with some type of silicone. After you buy it and wash it, it’s not good. Maybe 1 month or so, the sad part is after a couple of washes, it’s through!!
