Why is refined salt added? Can ordinary cooking salt be used? What if no salt is added at all?
Salt is added for increasing the concentration of ions in the water and to speed up the movement of ions within the electro-magnetic field. It also produces an anti-inflammatory and sterilizing effect. Ordinary cooking salt such as iodine salt contains foreign substances and would cause colour changes under the action of the energized electrodes while reducing detoxification effects. It is therefore best if refined salt be used. It works even when no salt is added but effects are much slower.
