I think Reba McEntire is not popular in England because she has never made an attempt to promote her career in England. Just like British Pop/Rock is not popular in America, American Country Music isn’t popular in England. It all comes down to the fan base and what sells in what regions. Reba McEntire is more “classic” country, and that doesn’t seem to do well in the United Kingdom. Artists like Taylor Swift and Shania Twain tend to be in more of a Pop/Country genre than just country, so their fan base is larger. Reba McEntire has never tried to be pop, and has been 100% country through and through.
