Why is Purdue University Calumet changing their web site to purduecal.edu?
This unique domain name will allow Purdue University Calumet to have a much greater presence in the online world. The current calumet.purdue.edu subdomain makes it appear as if we are just another department at the West Lafayette campus rather than a distinct institution. This change will also ensure a better Web and search presence. In addition, a shorter Web address will be more convenient when trying to access the Purdue University Calumet Website.
