Why is Potlatch charging fees to recreate on their land?
Recreation use on Potlatch lands has been growing rapidly for several years. There are significant costs associated with the recreational use of our lands. But most importantly, our shareholders expect us to manage and generate returns for all sustainable uses of our land. The recognition that recreation is a viable business on private forest lands is sweeping the country.
