Why is picloram so useful in range and pasture weed control?
Picloram, an active ingredient in Grazon® P+D, Surmount™ and Tordon® 22K herbicides, is highly active on many broadleaf weeds in rangeland and pastures. Several factors, including control spectrum, thorough translocation and residual activity, make it more effective than other methods or herbicides. Removing competition from weeds releases grass production and boosts the quantity and quality of forage.
