Why is photoshop better than coral painter + why is painter better than photoshop?
one is geared for painting, and one is geared for manipulating photos, painter works better for painters in the way the interface works, examples being how you mix your colours, like on a real pallet, you can shift colours with water, you can spray directionally, and my personal favourite, is spinning the canvas around when drawing for getting good lines from the natural pivot motion of the wrist. Photoshop is designed for the photographer and uses language photographers know like white points, exposures, burning and dodging.
