Why is Peter Singer, the Princeton professor, so controversial among many people with disabilities?
Singer has written that it is morally defensible to kill young children who have disabilities. He has also made other statements about what is ethically acceptable that have offended many adults with disabilities. These adults note that they, and others who have disabilities, often find much more meaning and enjoyment in life than Singer seems to think they can have.
