Why Is Pancake Day Celebrated?

0

Pancake day (also known as shrove tuesday) is the day before lent starts. Lent is a time in which we usually give up a food we love, (e.g. Bread, cheese, eggs) and shrove Tuesday is a ‘feast’ of these things. Pancakes have flour, eggs and milk etc… And so it is a time to celebrate these things before giving them up. I hope this answered your question.
