Why is Pana C-315® considered vegetarian but not vegan?

0

Pana C-315® contains all plant-derived vegetarian ingredients. It also contains bee pollen extract, propolis, and royal jelly, which are naturally-derived bee by-products (non-beeswax). In the strictest interpretation, these ingredients are not considered vegan. The Vegan Society’s criterion for animal-free vegan products states that products must, as far as is possible and practical, be entirely free from animal involvement. They strictly define bees as animals. However, we do have many vegan customers who take our products.
