Why is Oviedo High the only school in Seminole County doing the Senior Project?

By being the first school in Seminole County to implement the Senior Project, we have taken a leadership role. Currently, ten states (RI, NC, TX, LA, WA, OR, PA, SC, HI, OH) mandate senior projects for graduation and five states (NH, ID, MT, AL, AR) are moving toward a mandate. In Central Florida, high schools in Polk County, Brevard County, Orange County, and Osceola County require Senior Projects.
