Why is organic cotton so important to use?
Supporting organic cotton agriculture is a win-win for all involved. There are no pesticides, herbicides or other harmful chemicals used in the growing of organic cotton that is pervasive in commercially grown cotton. Commercial cotton crops are one of the most heavily sprayed crops in all of agriculture. The soil, watersheds, insects, pollinators, farmers and even consumers are all negatively impacted by these practices.
