OOCL is committed to reduction of NOx, SOx and CO2 emissions, and we welcome any new initiative to achieve reduction in emissions. However, we believe it is necessary to examine the facts. The US Government has issued a proposal on this topic to the IMO, endorsed by the World Shipping Council (WSC), which OOCL fully supports.
