Why is OCEA’s independence important?
Employees of Orange County (and in many other places) join together because they know they can do more for themselves as a group than alone. Employees in the County have common interests and goals because they work for the same employer, live in the same general area, shop in the same stores, and pay the same taxes. Local employees are all interested in the same issues. Our members don’t need someone else to set their priorities and make decisions. Our members believe in self-reliance and working together. Our members believe in independence!
