Why is observance of a Muslim or Jewish holiday tolerant, but observance of a Christian holiday is ignorant?
Because christianity is more wide spread and understood than other religions. Altho ALL so called christians have been slowly thru societies/pagan heritage rituals been slowly pulling man into pagan worships such as a tree bein put up for christmas and easter eggs/bunnies over taking easter. … I don’t know what you’re talking about. Christians, who comprise the vast majority of this country, need to be tolerant of minority religions, which Islam and Judaism are. And I really have no idea what Christians’ problem is about the “assault on Christmas.” They act like there are no public displays or indications or signs anywhere that the holiday is going on, like people aren’t putting up Christmas lights everywhere and like stores don’t have Christmas decorations. News flash: No matter what religion you are, you cannot escape or ignore signs and indicators of Christmas no matter how hard you try if you live in America. You can EASILY escape and ignore the scant signs of, for example, the Islamic holiday equivalent to Christmas. So, hey, Christians, how about you quit whining and acting like you’re a minority being discriminated against when you comprise 85% of the U.S. population.
