Why is normal coffee unhealthy?
Coffee itself has a neutral impact on your health. Other than caffeine which is an addictive substance, coffee is non-fattening and contains zero carbohydrates. However, very few people drink coffee straight and often add unhealthy ingredients like sugar, cream and other fattening additives. Because coffee itself does not have a discernable effect on health, these additives make drinking coffee unhealthy. Fortified coffee on the other hand, has vitamins, nutrients and supplements that make coffee a healthier beverage to drink.
