Why is no-one answering my messageboard question?
A10: Although there are many helpful people who hang out on the messageboards, please keep in mind, that this is not a helpdesk, or a support center. There are several reasons why you may not have an answer yet. 1. No one knows the answer, or the person(s) that do know the answer haven’t read it. Be patient. 2. Thread titles need to be specific. “Need help with icons” will attrack more attention than “help!! oh gawd HELP ME!” 3. Don’t be rude. I opened a thread recently, and the person loking for help was quite upset. The words choosen, and emoticons used gave me the impression that this person was angry at everyone, just because he couldnt figure something out. Posts like this seldom get much help. 4. Don’t start redundant threads. If you havent got an answer, and you feel the need to clear up your request, do this is the original thread. If want to move the thread back to the top of the board, you can type something such as “bump” in the comment box, and submit. Impatience will not g
