A K2DocKey is derived from a document’s VdkVgwKey and the collection’s collAlias. For a parametric index built from XML alone, there is no collection available from which to make the VdkVgwKey association. In this case, K2DocKey is undefined and, thus, returned as a blank field from the K2 Server.
