Why is Nitrogen safer than regular compressed air?
The Answer: Nitrogen is an inert gas which will not burn or accelerate combustion attributable to tire failure due to overheating, and possible subsequent and often catastrophic “blow outs”.Nitrogen use is required by law in aircraft tires. It is also used on the Nascar Race Car Circuit and in military vehicles for this same reason.
