Why is Nikola Tesla so unknown?
Nikola Tesla was ahead of his time and has to be one of the best pure scientific minds of all time. A big reason why he doesn’t get more shine is because of his eccentricities. He was asexual, wouldn’t clean himself, and didn’t really care for academia. He viewed science as art, rather than as a discipline or as something to be studied. He was also cheated out of credit for many of his discoveries by other scientists. Thomas Edison was also among those who screwed Tesla out due credit and money. Tesla was a rival of Edison’s and likely was a better scientist. Edison had more patents, but Tesla had him in terms of scientific acumen. History is only now giving Tesla is due.
