Why is nationalism and anti-immigration a bad thing?
I do not consider nationalism as a bad thing, Loving your country and being proud on what your people have done is not wrong. Countries can be crowded. But many countries have a history of immigration. The Netherlands have a history of immigration too. That was not bad for the Dutch culture and economy. More difficult is when the newcomers consider themselves better than others or do not respect the rules of their country. Are you opposing that? Than I do not see a racist issue. But this is not always the case! Sometimes the people in the home-country consider themselves better than the newcomers. This is not directly racist, because that is the case when you consider other races less than your own. But I do not like it, because it is undermining the society. You would be a racist when you judge people because of their race and expecially when you consider them less because of their race.
