Why is NARA introducing the Toolkit as a proof-of-concept?
Useful guidance tools already exist that can help solve many challenges in managing electronic records. To make the most of limited Government resources, this guidance must be identified, organized, and shared Government-wide in a way that helps people easily find and identify the tools that meets their needs. NARA has designed the Toolkit to address the requirements of a broad audience and is introducing the Toolkit as a proof-of-concept to get feedback from users.
