Why is Napa wine SO expensive?

0

Some Napa wine is expensive. But, there is a lot of Napa wine that is very reasonably priced, even “cheap”, and an incredible value for the richness and flavor you receive. Also, one thing to keep in mind, buying at a winery is convenient, but often they won’t discount wines because of retail relationships they have with distributors or grocery stores and liquor stores. You can find very desirable wines at discount stores and at prices that are often less than at the winery. Now, for those small, family owned wineries that don’t sell to distributors, many of their wines are already very reasonably priced. It is all covered in the book.
