Why is Myson better than lower priced brands?
Myson’s electric towel warmers are called “Electric Oil Filled”. The units are filled with mineral oil which is heated by an electric element. This method provides an even, smooth delivery of heat to the entire rail surface which reuslts in optimum heat transfer to the towel. Often, less expensive brands use the “Dry Element” method. There is no oil inside. Rather, there is a long heating wire which travels throughout the inside of the rails. This method causes hot spots where the wire happens to contact the rail and blank spots where it is too far from the rail. The result is uneven heat transfer and inferior performance.
