If you have added video code, paypal forms, or other forms to your Joomla code as discussed in our “How do I embed html form and paypal…” tip. Then you might be experiencing a blacklisting. Joomla 1.5 has an article configuration setting in its global configuration that removes tags. This is a filter that filters regardless of your WYSIWYG Editor settings. You can find and configure this setting by going to your Joomla Administrator: • Select Article Manager • Select the “Parameters” button in the Toolbar accross the top (button bar). • Scroll down to “Filter Type”. Mouse over filter type for more information. • By default your articles are “Blacklisted”, Choose “Whitelist”, and then add the HTML element tag name (Form, Object, Embed) into the Filter Tags text box. • Scroll to the top and save Your forms and videos shouldn’t be removed now. Remember this happens regardless of your WYSIWYG Settings!

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
