Why Is my New Kitten Sneezing?Answer: The rest of the queation: I adopted my 4 month old kitten less than two weeks ago. So far, she has been vaccinated and spayed. In every respect she seems very healthy. The problem is that she keeps sneezing. I thought perhaps that it was due to my heating vents, which blow a lot of dust around, or the air fresheners/disinfectants that I spray regularly. But I am not sure. Should I be worried? She shows no other symptoms of cold or flu. Thanks Congratulations on starting off your kitten right, with her shots and particularly with spaying. She’s going to be a much happier healthier cat, thanks to you. As to her sneezing, it’s a tough call. I’m assuming she wasn’t sneezing when you first took her to the vet? For starters, I’d suggest laying off spraying air fresheners and disinfectants, to see if that makes a difference. Also, you need to be careful with the disinfectants, particularly if she walks on the surface you spray and then licks her pads. Man
