Why is my girlfriend bleeding like experiencing a another period when she had one two weeks back?
The morning after pill can cause what’s called “break through bleeding” which is bleeding between periods. All the morning after pill is is a high dose of birth control. So if she were on regular birth control pills this happens very very commonly, especially when a woman first starts taking it. Also, if she started on a regular pill after your unprotected incident then this could be the side effects of that. The other issue is with the back pain. A urinary tract infection which has gone to her kidneys can cause blood that looks like she’s having a period. If the pain is located in the mid-back on one side, or she’s having painful urination, frequent urination, or the feeling like she has to pee but when she goes little comes out, then she definitely has an infection. If that’s the case it is not serious but it must be treated. It cannot go away on its own and it can cause health problems if left untreated.
