Why is my datafile called 0506?
Previously, new datafiles would be issued to schools at the beginning of a new financial year and were named according to the year. The last time a new datafile was issued to schools was 2005/2006. Schools now roll forward the datafile and the name remains the same unless schools choose to re-name it. Schools have been sent instructions on how to change the name of the datafile and must be completed in September.
