If your blog is hosted on a subdomain (i.e. http://blog.mysite.com) or a subdirectory (http://www.mysite.com/blog), Alexa’s API does not provide data for your blog. Please note that if your blog is on a subdomain or subdirectory, we are still able to retrieve data from the main site but not for the blog. Our system uses data for the blog and not for the main site in the ranking logic.
