Why is my african cichlids not eating my feeder fish?
It is not illegal. In the UK, the Animal Welfare Act 2006 prohibits deliberate and “unnecessary suffering” to animals, but contrary to widespread belief, it does not explicitly outlaw the feeding of live feeder fish to other fish. But it is not illegal, as certain fish will only feed on live food, what about live river shrimp that is sold as live food, how about all the fishing trawlers that catch fish, that leave fish flapping around in their bottoms, are they to be prosecuted, no !
