Why is my AcceleNet program icon flashing?

The AcceleNet program icon flashes to indicate that a large file transfer is in progress. You may also see a small pop-up window appear indicating that the file is transferring. If you close the window, the file transfer will still continue. If you click the cancel button to stop the file transfer, AcceleNet client will temporarily disconnect from the server (the icon will be dim) then it will reconnect to restart your session.
