Why is my 2005 Student-Faculty Interaction score on the Benchmark Recalculation Report different from the one in my 2005 Benchmark Report?
Item 7d on the NSSE Survey “Work on a research project with a faculty member outside of course or program requirements” (RESEARCH) was removed from the calculation of the SFI score on the Benchmark Recalculation Report to make it comparable with previous years. In 2004, RESEARCH along with several other Enriching Education Experience items were rescaled. For information on this, refer to 2004 Benchmark FAQ Question 1b.
