Why is MSU Benefits Group reducing the tier levels from 6 to 4?
MSU is simplifying the choices and allowing for price comparisons with other insurance plans. This will mean that if you were carrying only one child on the plan as a dependent, your rates will increase to a rate shared by those with one child and those with more than one. This increase will be above the medical trend costs increase that will occur on all tiers.
