Cognitive testing of survey items typically occurs in multiple rounds. After the initial round of cognitive testing for the CAHPS PCMH Survey, the Consortium added items to both the adult and child instruments and modified items as needed. All of these items in the field test version of the CAHPS PCMH Survey will be cognitively tested in winter 2010-2011.
