Why is Meeting Maker being replaced?
Exchange Calendar is the calendaring standard for many universities and businesses. It consolidates email, calendaring, and tasks into a single software platform and takes advantage of our existing university IT infrastructure. Also administrators, faculty, and staff are asking for better synchronization between their calendar and their PDAs, cell phones, and other mobile devices. Although Meeting Maker has served the campus community well for the last several years, our current version is not supported and is lacking in its ability to synchronize information. Microsoft Exchange is a no-added-cost solution for improved calendaring, and it enables synchronization between a host of mobile devices and its calendaring product.
