A. Most mineral supplements are ionic (polar), containing one positive ionic (electrical) charge. Ionic minerals come from the soil or rocks and are nature’s food for plants, not humans. Your body is designed to get its minerals from plants, after they have converted ionic (polar) minerals into bi-polar minerals (containing both positive and negative charges).
