Why is many English Jealous of Scottish People?

I’m not aware that there are that many people who are jealous of the scots, although with the better deal that a devolved Scotland gets I wouldn’t be surprised. I live less than 100 miles from Scotland and would like to partake of some of their laws and legislation. Having said that if it’s that good the Scottish border would probably move to the M4 corridor!
