Why is maintaining homeostasis important?

0

If our body is unable to maintain homeostasis, it will eventually cause death. This situation is called homeostatic imbalance. When negative feedback, (which decreases the output or activity of an organism or to get back to its normal range) overpowers and destructive positive mechanism takes over, anything like a heart attack can occur. Homeostatic imbalance may also lead to dehydration, diabetes, hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia and so on. Timely medical treatment can help in regaining the homeostasis and can ensure that all our human body systems are working properly. These were the main aspects related to homeostasis and how does our body go about maintaining homeostasis. One thing is for sure, our body does maintain homeostasis and does the balancing act with all a clean impeccability! This is where I sign off, lest the balancing act of words is lost!
