Why is Luo Han Guo so hard to grow?
The effective growth of Luo Han Guo requires an environment of high humidity, limited sunlight, temperate winters and high altitude, or the Luo Han Guo wouldn’t develop properly. The steep faces of the Guangxi mountains perfectly meet these requirements. Moisture filled mist frequently surrounds the higher elevations of the mountains, and the mountain peaks provide shades to each other for a good portion of the day. Although it is cold and damp during the winter in the mountain, but the temperature rarely goes below freezing.
