Lucas has officially commented that he is too busy making Episode 2 to work on any DVD’s. Nobody is really sure why this is, it just is. There are many theories floating about, like he is waiting for a better technology to present it on, he doesn’t like DVD, or there could be some sort of gas leak at his house that is affecting his judgement.
